The J. D. Carton Metro team understands that in order to achieve great customer satisfaction we must prevent damage to our customer’s belongings. With a product developed by our business partner we have made great strides in that direction. Stretchwrap was developed and pioneered by Allied Van Lines to prevent damage to our customer’s upholstered and leather furniture. This heavy gauge plastic sheeting protects furniture from soilage, rips and stains. Stretchwrap has all but eliminated the most commonly filed damage claim in the industry. Protecting furniture is not our only goal, we also protect your home. A standard on every J. D. Carton Metro move is the use of floor runners, plastic floor guard, banister and wall protection. These products help protect carpet, wood flooring, walls, banisters, and doors.

Each year our team, along with Allied Van Lines, reviews the list of most frequently damaged items. Through examination, study, and the implementation of “best practices” we have achieved greater customer satisfaction with a reduction of claims for these items.

Every day our team strives for perfection. On rare occasions damage occurs and we strive for a quick claims resolution process. In order to achieve this goal we have provided on-line claim filing, or you can request claim forms sent via the U.S. Mail. Of course our move coordinators can get the process started. We work to resolve claims quickly by offering cash settlements or repairs.
